Nutrena Europe - Important update
Update
Further to the contaminated pet food from the Virbac’s subsidiary, Dog N’ Cat International of France. Nutrena Europe has now been contacted by the law firm Vinge AP of Sweden, who now want Nutrena Europe to say, and we quote the following from their correspondence.
Quote
"To all concerned persons, pet owners, breeders, veterinarians, distributors, You may have heard or read recently about alleged quality problem of the mastery range of pet food produced by Virbac S.A and Dog N’ Cat International S.A.S. These statements have been demonstrated to be inaccurate and misleading. Please, don't hesitate to contact Virbac S.A or Dog N’ Cat International S.A.S for information and response to your concern. Virbac S.A and Dog N’ Cat International S.A.S thank you for your confidence in our range of pet products.”
In essence, Virbac ND Dog N’ Cat Int’l want Nutrena and it’s customers, customers vets and reports, to say it was all a lie. And that the contamination and poisoning that resulted in the death of some of the animals affected, and in other cases, some animals will be enslaved to life long medication, did not happen.
It is now obvious, that Virbac/Dog N’ Cat Int’l are now trying to hide the truth of the matter, by saying that the set of circumstance was pure fabrication. We are deeply saddened, that the French producers of the Mastery brand through their attorneys, still continue to deny those that have been affected, resolution and closure to this on-going situation. Some years ago, Nutrena went through a similar occurrence when they were distributors for one of Germany’s largest pet food producers. The situation was contained and dealt within 48 hours after the contamination took place. Just about all-pet food producers will deal with a situation of this kind effectively, but that is not the case with the French. They want us to lie and say it did not happen. They deem that that are customers are all liars and the vet reports are incorrect. Unfortunately, dealing with the French is like, picking worms out of bullshit
Nutrena will not tell lies because the French companies are hiding the truth. Nor will we mislead our customers. The fact of the matter is, we are still getting written reports from our customers as recently as of January 2007, confirming that their animals have been affected by the use of the Mastery pet food brand.
